This Dutch oven is made from premium food-grade cast iron with a vitreous enamel finish that adds a glossy red appearance. At 5.7 kg, the heavy gauge construction ensures excellent heat retention and distribution for slow cooking, braising and simmering.
The enamel-coated cast iron can be used on all cooking surfaces including stovetops, ovens, under the broiler and on barbecues. Well suited to meat and vegetable curries, rice-based meals like pulao and biryani, and rich gravies.
