This female adapter allows standard USB Type-A devices and peripherals such as flash drives, keyboards, and mice to connect to USB Type-C enabled devices. The reversible Type-C connector inserts either way without concern for direction.
The adapter supports data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps and is certified by USB-IF for USB 3.1 Gen 1 compliance. It maintains backwards compatibility with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.
